However, if you will be marrying abroad in a hot climate consider going without a tie and wearing a lighter weight fabric, such as linen.

You could do your own hair and make-up on your wedding day abroad, or you could take advantage of the beauty packages which many hotels and resorts offer and have it done by a professional on the day.

Transporting your outfits to your wedding abroad destination
The safest option is to take your wedding outfits on to the plane as hand luggage in dress and suit carriers. Some airlines allow this but you should check with them before you set off as there are sometimes restrictions.
Alternatively if you are putting them in the hold, pack them in a hard suitcase for minimum creasing.
Hang your wedding outfits up as soon as possible after you arrive. If you are worried about any creases many hotels provide a pressing service as well.
